Biographical Summary of Report Writer
Carl Savignac is the director of Dendroica Environnement et Faune, an environmental consulting firm specializing in studies on threatened species, biodiversity and the assessment of the wildlife impacts of petroleum and mineral extraction and timber harvesting. He has been studying birds for 13 years and has conducted field studies in several Canadian provinces and territories. He is the author of 11 scientific reports and publications on mammals, amphibians, raptors and forest passerines of Canada’s boreal forest.
