M. Scott Wallace (Ph. D.), de la University of British Columbia, est scientifique indépendant en matière de pêche et propriétaire de Blue Planet Research and Education, sur l'île de Vancouver (Colombie-Britannique). Il s'intéresse aux pratiques de gestion exemplaires et à la durabilité des pêches dans le Pacifique. M. Steven Campane (Ph. D.) est scientifique principal au service du ministère des Pêches et des Océans, à l'institut océanographique de Bedford (Nouvelle-Écosse) où il étudie les requins du Canada atlantique. M. Gordon (Sandy) McFarlane (Ph. D.) est scientifique au service du ministère des Pêches et des Océans, à la Station de biologie du Pacifique (Colombie-Britannique) où il étudie la biologie et la répartition des requins et des raies. Mme Jacquelynne King (Ph.
